Why Freedom?

During this Lenten season, we dove deep into the wisdom of the 12 Steps commonly used during the recovery journey and how it relates to our spiritual growth and redemption. This series provided an opportunity for us all to reflect on our own personal journey and gain a deeper understanding of the power of forgiveness and grace. We all have sinned and recovery is for everyone.

This Easter we are celebrating the freedom from sin and learning how to carry out what we’ve learned to the nations.

Step 12: Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to everyone, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

Celebrate With Us

Every year we gather together to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. That glorious day was preceded by a Holy Week, a time of Christ’s triumphant entrance to Jerusalem, his crucifixion, and finally his resurrection. What does that mean for us? Our Holy Week teaching will focus on the Christian life implications of being crucified with Christ, being redeemed in Christ, and raised with Christ
