On Sunday, January 15th, we have the opportunity to honor the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man who dedicated his life to serving others and fighting for justice. In honor of his commitment to service, we will be assembling and praying over cold-weather items and meals at the end of each worship service. With the help of our friend Chris Parsons, these items will be distributed to those in need, furthering the spirit of service that Martin Luther King Jr. so eloquently preached. Let us follow in his footsteps and strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others.”Everybody can be great because everybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love.” MLK
